Very flat trail close to the river
This walk is part of a 150 mile trail called the Great Allegeny Passage. This path is not a loop and you can turn around whenever you please. It is a rail trail, so it's great for biking and is good for a leisurley walk. There is one bench along the trail. Parking, outhouses, and a waterfountain are all located at a park with a couple ball fields. If you walk out of the parking lot and towards the river, there is a beautiful view of the Youghiogheny River and there are a few picnic tables to have lunch at. There are also a couple cafes and little shops within walking distance of the park. If you'd like to learn more about the Great Allegeny Passage, their website is https://gaptrail.org/explore/trail-towns.
